Gift na, lain2x man sad ta ug gift
Gift na, lain2x man sad ta ug gift
Know the 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit and from there develop them.
The seven gifts are enumerated (approximately) in Isaiah 11:2-3. Here are the names of the seven gifts, as given[2] in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, along with a description of each gift, as defined[3] by St. Thomas Aquinas in the Summa Theologica:
- Wisdom- With the gift of wisdom, we see God at work in our lives and in the world. For the wise person, the wonders of nature, historical events, and the ups and downs of our livestake on deeper meaning. The matters of judgment about the truth, and being able to see the whole picture of God.
- Understanding - With the gift of understanding, we comprehend how we need to live as a follower of Jesus Christ. A person with understanding is not confused by all the conflicting messages in our culture about the right way to live. Also called "Common Sense," the gift of understanding perfects a person's speculative reason in the apprehension of truth. It is the gift whereby self-evident principles are known, Aquinas writes[1].
- Counsel (Right Judgment) - With the gift of right judgment, we know the difference between right and wrong, and we choose to do what is right. A person with right judgment avoids sin and lives out the values taught by Jesus. The gift of truth that allows the person to respond prudently, and happily to believe our Christ the Lord
- Fortitude (Courage) - With the gift of courage, we overcome our fear and are willing to take risk as a follower of Jesus. A person with courage is willing to stand up for what is right in the sight of God, even if it means accepting rejection, verbal abuse, or even physical harm and death. The gift of Courage allows people the firmness of mind that is required both in doing good and in enduring evil, especially with regard to goods or evils that are difficult, Aquinas writes.
- Knowledge - With the gift of knowledge, we understand the meaning of God's Revelation, especially as expressed in the life and words of Jesus Christ. A person with knowledge is always learning more about the scriptures and Tradition. The gift of knowledge is more than an accumulation of facts.
- Piety (Reverence) - With the gift of reverence sometimes called piety, we have a deep sense of respect for God and the Church. A person with reverence recognizes our total reliance on God and comes before God with humility, trust, and love. Piety is the gift whereby, at the Holy Spirit's instigation, we pay worship and duty to God as our Father, Aquinas writes.
- Fear_of_the_Lord (Wonder and Awe) - With the gift of wonder and awe (fear of the lord), we are aware of the glory and majesty of God. A person with wonder and awe knows that God is the perfection of all we desire: perfect knowledge, perfect goodness, perfect power, and perfect love. This gift is described by Aquinas as a fear of separating oneself from God. He describes the gift as a "filial fear," like a child's fear of offending his father, rather than a "servile fear," that is, a fear of punishment. Also known as knowing God is all powerful.
di ko nahan 3rd eye kay hadlok2 daw nah. mas nindot ang eye ni itachi hahaha
@regnauld: on the originators of the 3rd eye, (meaning dili preha anang mga pa feeling2x dri na walay alam about the TRUE 3rd eye) I believe it's similiar to the first gift you mentioned. Wisdom. Or rather, INNER wisdom. Nothing about it says anything about seeing dead people, past, present or future. Ang mga tao na nagtuo ug ing-ana PATAKA ra ug sabot sa 3rd eye. Sobraan siguro tan-aw ug horror movies.
Haha... "horror" movies lagi..
You do have a point in there. Gossips just ruin the actual meaning of the third eye. Ambot why daghang mga exagge-statements karong mga panahona. Third eye is not Hollywood.

The gift of premonition (a.k.a. Precognition, Recognition, Clairvoyance, Psychometry etc.) is the ability to see the past or future in various ways.
So this blog starts with a question: "What is the Source of Premonitions?"
Many people receive premonitions and dreams . Why this happens and for what purpose is a subjective matter of interpretation.
A few subjective answers are below:
Some people have a easy connection to the spiritual realm. They automatically travel on a spiritual level when asleep and receive premonitions from the future. This is something that is just inside of you like having a talent for singing or dancing. You were born with this sensitivity.
A second interpretation is that all of us are born with spiritual receiving devises (for lack of a better term).
Christians who have the Gift of Prophesy can receive dreams and visions from God. The Gift of Prophesy is given by the Holy Spirit and be judge by other Christians for validly.
Last interpretation is it runs in your family. As to who will be the next in line, is a matter of destiny.
The reason why I'm posting this new blog is because I had my nth experience about having premonitions. It was at 3AM of April 2, 2009 when I took my one-hour lunch break (yes I work in a call center). Instead of going out to eat, I just went straight to our training room and slept.
For some reason, I woke up and surprised after having a bad dream. What I felt and saw in my dream was a white screen (I'm sure it was a computer monitor) and suddenly I saw the letters being typed as "(name withheld for privacy)..." What I felt at that time was that I was being called by my boss. Awright, since I'm still sleepy I went back to sleep. Honestly, I was a little bit wary of what will happen next after that dream.
After finishing my break I rushed to the rest room to answer the call of nature (LOL) and suddenly I saw a small butterfly near the urinal. What popped up in my mind was about my grandmother who passed away in 2007. I smiled remembering her good memories when I saw that butterfly. Many times I have weird experiences about butterflies because it connects to my late grandma who was gifted and everything boils down to paranormal stuffs.
I went back to my cubicle to start another call. Minutes after my boss arrived and asked me to meet him in his office. "Yes Sir after my call," "Without second thoughts, I went to his office and informed me that my installation appointment at 2PM (Canada Time) is transferred to Jessica. He politely informed me that it has nothing to do with me personally. It was more of managing the appointments to all the tech as we have busy calls to attend in our queue.
At the end of the day, I called up Mitch (again) and told her about my experience.
Since I'm good in dream interpretation, allow me to explain the symbols here. The computer in my dream is the symbol of my current job as a tech guy. Having my name in the monitor is a symbol that I was being called up by my boss. The whole scenario is colored, meaning it is current or future events.
Amazing isn't? What will you do if you have that gift?
I promised my cousin that when she starts schooling this June here in Cebu, I will train her some modern applications on how to tap her abilities. Even though I quit the group I founded still I continue what we call "abilities."

I remember last week that I had this funny chitchat with my office mate named Jessica while we were glued in our private chat room for all the techs guys in our office.
Me: I can sense that your new baby is a boy. The energy is so strong to the extent that I can even sense it as far from where I am right now. (Jessica's table is situated next to my cubicle. If I'm not mistaken she's pregnant for 2 or 3 months already).
(Jessica Laughs)
Jessica: Really? What's your vibe? I hope you're an angel because my husband is eager to have a boy. Our first born child was a girl man gud.
Me: Really? Whoa! Weird basta mao na ako na sense ron.
