hmmm....ok raman ang uban kay willing man pud mu learn. pero i think it's a matter of honesty. kung dili ka kabalo sa butang then its better to ask gyud from senior staff nurses ninyo rather than say kamao ka pero pag perform nimo dili day mao. your actions can have devastating effects on you patient. so i think it's better to be honest than to be a know it all.

i have read an article over Termination of Nurses in UAE that was passed on and linked by one istoryan to a certain thread as well.

With this, it gave me an idea to start a new one as to how people wud like to describe the new breeds of RN's these days in terms of skills, intellect and character.

mau lagi unta ug makasulay...problem is lisod naman kaha igawas ron? ang uban na makasulay ky continued man gihapon ang imagery ug mo-uli sa pinas as far i have observed! even ang naa nurses dri sa US, mao man gani gihapon. i will give u an example...me & my hubby are both nurses and 5 yrs na mi halos but we are still living in an apt. complex, got only 1 car bisan naa mi bata, sedan pa gyud ra.

kabaw ka unsa sulti sa mga nurses na uban wa pa 2 yrs or even tuig? mao gyud ni ay: ha, 2 mo ka nurse and wa pa gyud mo palit balay and upgrade ug sakyanan na naa mn ta mo bb na?

kapoy sige explain ug unsa ang priorities sa kinabuhi oi...sila ky palit daun ky for tax shelter daw and halos ksagara nila ky tag-duha ka auto plus naa pa balay na tag 4BR wid basement pa and usa ray nurse sa family ky ang bana blue collar usually. sometimes mag wonder bya ko ngano di mi mo gamble....pero we r living based ra gyud unsa ang MAKAYA ug i cant imagine mag live me paycheck to paycheck tungod sa bayrunon na halos hosp ka nalang siguro puyo! mapugos lang ka work ky needed nimo ibayad sa mortgage? magsige lang nya hinuon ug away tungod ky ma stress sa bayronon! no way,we wud live our lives that way... di gihapon nako ibaylo mo situation oi...

maka-irritate na gyud ang ani na traits oi!!! unsaon busabos man lang mi gud gihapon...hehehehe!

sis saludo ko nimo.Hopefully pareho nato ok pangutok ang uban dha.Naay uban dha na di na gani halos ka enjoy sa ila big house kay cge nalang duty aron ibayad sa mortgage and expensive car.Kulang nalang magdala ug uniform sabon tubig balde pagkaon toothbrush and other personal gadgets ibutang sa car aron di na mouli sa ila balay kay cge nalang 16hrs a day and working 7days a week dayun manghinambog sa pinas na nakapalit sla ug nindot au na car ang balay.For info sa mga wa ka ari sa US ang balay ,car inutang na tanan.It's not how much you earn but how much you save.

new breeds of nurses nowadays are quite half-bake in terms of theories and OJT especially 2nd degree coursers...

In fairness sa ato mga kababayan na nurse sa US kabalo sad tawon mo spell ug words pero daghan sad mga black and white americans and latinos di gyud kabalo mo mosulat ug nursing terms.Di kabalo sa spelling.

hi colleagues. i am a new breed nurse, a second courser actually a graduate sa BSN HAP PROGRAM. i consider myself half breed, half baked. or whatever you may call it. kay even amo c.i.'s doesn't like us... nya samtang nageskwela mi gi look down mi... even when taking the boards. WELL happy ko na we performed well more than what they expected...
MAO NI AKONG NAHINUMDUMAN SA UNA ABOUT NURSING. "MANY ARE CALLED BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN"
Bitaw tanan gipangsulti diri is quite true. the only thing now is kung personally, ako padayon paba ko mag work as a NURSE... one thing i hate when i here na hambugiro daw, i personally experience some grabeeeee...... the one thing that's bugging me is when nurses i know tells me na mas datu ang nurse sa states... tawa lang ko. ha!ha!
i'm not gonna tell what's my other course. but it's one that is in demand sa US right now... so whatever happens... if ever i will be given a chance to work as a nurse i WILL MAKE it to a point na i will be one of the CHOSEN NOT THE ONE BEING CALLED just to take the course and be a nurse..

igo ko dah... studyante pa nuon ko ryt now but im confident and conceited... Im a positive thinker. If hambog mga CI and nurse staff, mas hambog pako nila. what can i say? Im top of my class as well so i have the bragging rights.

as far as i can remember, its just the usual stuff like: Application letter, personalized CV, TOR, licence or certification and the rest will be upon request.

thanks @vienzel... lisod na jud diri philippines kay sus.. katong numbers gipa gawas sa dole kay 100,000 nurses per year nya 3,000 job vacancies ra jud.. sa among oath taking pud kay its time to consider other fields to sustain daily life daw.. hahahaa.. pasabot dili sa mag nurse kay puno.. tsk tsk tsk ..
