It's more spiritual than their last album (2006) though

actually if u know what emo is then u cant say they're emo..

they're not even punk (although if u grw up on mainstream radio and mtv, u certainly would think they are punk or emo due to trevor's voice and the punch of some songs which is how mtv defines punk or emo).

they belong to a genre known as power pop. yeah they may have some punk attitude but i wouldn't go that far as calling them punk..

and if u listen closely, definitely not emo...
