im into longterm investing. nothing comes out good usually if short-term, even in relationships, hehehe. longterm ang better, i suggest, aside na mu daku jud ang shares, sa imu well-monitored company, hatag pa jud dividends, which is tax-free. it's an alternative tax shelter. and anybody, can be a longterm investor. it's doable, it doest need complicated, technical knowledge.

If you noticed, I'm into long term investing as well.

Hi, looking for like-minded people and hoping to trade inputs on stocks to watch. I've only starting buying stocks early last year. It turned out to be the worst time to buy coz the market plunged that year. Anyway, I've since regained my composure and started buying again this year. the market is slowly starting to come back and I'm very excited.

My hot stocks are Metrobank (MBT), Aboitiz Power (AP), Security Bank (SECB) and Alliance Global (AGI). I'm really just a small time investor. To give you an idea, I only buy on average about P5k for every purchase I make. So far this year, I've made about 5 or so purchases.

My goal is to reach upwards of 10million pesos in 25 years for my retirement. I did the projections and it is very doable. I am not a stockbroker or someone affiliated with one. I work as a marketing exec for a company in IT Park and I am doing my best to grow my money so I'll have a nice retirement. I don't want to end up poor when I'm old.

For those who are interested in the stockmarket, I think now is the best time to start buying. Stocks have been pounded by the financial crisis but are slowly making a comeback. I think there's a good chance we will see a bull market by the end of this year or early next year.

    Taga cebu ra mo diri?

hey cebugdev, investing stocks is also designed for long term. if you really want short term investments of course you can do stocks but its very very risky. and even if you find a stock broker here you still have to pay him/her a fee.

short term investment is similar to gambling so don't put all your eggs in one basket - diversify.
