dili to 1000h but 900 d i to ang tag.20k... brand new na cya sis with 1 yr warranty.. naa kuno sila ma.abot nga stock by the end of april... ni.order ko nya ug 1000HE mayta naa maabot nga stocks... kung gnahan ka pa.reserve sad tkaw...

Introducing the Asus EEE PC 1004DN. A netbook with an optical drive. Isn't Asus amazing? I've been waiting for this one for quite sometime already, and I guess it was all worth it. DVD-burning goodness in a portable package. Makes me wanna cry.

Asus Eee PC 1004DN with DVD drive due out in April

The Asus Eee PC 1004DN is the first Asus netbook to sport an optical disc drive. Heck, it’s one of the first netbooks from any company to make room for a disc drive. While I’d originally heard that this model wasn’t scheduled for release in the US anytimesoon, Asus filed documents related to the 1004DN with the FCC in February, which would indicate that the company does plan to release the computer here.

Now DigiTimes is reporting that the computer could be available as soon as mid-April, with a price tag somewhere between $531 and $590. It’s not clear whether that’s the US release date or a global launch date.

The Eee PC 1004DN has a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU with the new GN40 chipset, a 10.2 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1GB of RAM, a 120GB hard drive, and a super multi disc drive that can read and burn a wide range of CD and DVD formats.

DigiTimes also suggests that the ultrathin Asus Eee PC 1008HA “shell” netbook is scheduled for release in May.

Add More RAM to the Lenovo IdeaPad S10

When it comes to adding RAM, Lenovo's IdeaPad S10 netbook is incredibly easy to upgrade. All you need is a DDR2 PC5300 SODIMM in 512MB, 1GB, or 2GB capacity, a mini philip's head screwdriver, and five minutes of spare time.

Before you go buying a new SODIMM, you should be aware that the S10 has 512MB soldered onto the motherboard and only one DIMM slot. If your S10 comes with more than 512MB preinstalled, chances are that there's already a DIMM sitting in the slot and you will have to remove it if you choose to upgrade.

The motherboard also cannot recognize more than 2GB in total, including the built-in 512MB. So, if you add a 512MB DIMM, you'll have 1GB while a 1GB DIMM will give you 1.5GB. A 2GB DIMM will give you 2GB, not 2.5GB, because the last 512MB will be ignored. Still, it may be worthwhile to spend a few dollars on a 2GB DIMM, just so you can max out your RAM.
