I also understand the TS concept.

Would it be pointless making PDA's or mobiles devices turn into webserver on the long run? Who would make those devices online 24/7?

I can a imagine a future problem with this concept:
    * Slow speed, not good for web service.
    * Software is too big and heavy for the mobile device.
    * static IP address - if this is implemented, the money is wasted for just the mobile device, Bigger server is preferable if doing heavy duty.
    * Can't store enough large data.

If this is used for Personal use only, then it's no problem.

if this project will be implemented by one company:

BATTERY would be really a headache for this project.
3G/HSDPA/HSUPA problem.. daku au imo BILL... not all areas are covered.
(if you'll not connect through WIFI)

No need for 3G/HSDPA/HSUPA, depending on the application.

Possible applications for mobile web servers:
    - You can share your phone pics and music library within the local network by providing a Web-based photo and music album for your files.
    - You can let people message you within the network by providing Web-based messaging services. You can even make this service publicly accessible for extra coolness (just use port forwarding or IPv6 because assigning a public IPv4 address to your phone is not really practical).
    - You can host your personal wiki. Let the whole world know about your TODO list.

example na naay mobile site karon kay:
    1. friendster - Friendster - Login to Friendster
    2. youtube - http://m.youtube.com/
    3. tmsway - The TMS Way
    4. etc.

kay ang mobilephones karon bai ang pinaka hits part sa innovation coz have own modem nga pwede mo acces sa net.. and most important unlimited usuage if our network...offer unlinet bundle same like now in middle east network offer sila how about if ur mobile have cam...and our network offer vedio calling madala pa bisan asa...so same as pc na di ba mao na ang aho rason...
