IMHO, it's not even an easy way out. they are sacrificing themselves not to be with their families physically just so they can send money home to feed, clothe, and shelter them. i just don't know why u hate our OFWs that way.

if that's the way u think, wa nakoy mahims ana...tsk, tsk, tsk.

even if they took an oath to be citizens of another country doesn't mean gitalikoran na nila ilang pgka Pinoy. so u mean to say kad2 nilarga abroad nya nahimong citizen sa ubang countries, traitors? i don't see the logic in this argument...this just doesn't make sense. this is crazy!...so if we follow ur logic, those Americans, Japanese, Europeans who stayed sa Pinas for good are also traitors in their own country? what the!

and how the heck can u even say "slaves to foreign dogs" huh? murag racist statement man na kau.

if u say Pinoys are racists, pls keep it to yourself nlng. it's not a good intellectual argument per se.

    anyway, this is OT na.

good that that HK columnist apologized...

Sa ato pa, makakatulog na kayo ng mahimbing, just because the paper (and it's not even the writer himself that apologized) already apologized.

daghan lain problema dire sa Pilipinas nga angay atubangon. So what if we are being called a Nation of servants? Tinuod man di ba? We are servants.....Jesus was a servant......it is better to serve than to be served! Bisag servant basta decent ang work....wa nangawat.....wa nag negosyo ug illegal, wa nangilad, wa namaligya ug drugs. Unsaon man ang nindot na life if illegal sad ang source.

Challenge na sya natong tanan....challenge na sa government nato. uplift the lives of the filipino people. provide jobs and increase salary para di na mag abroad. tan-awa unsay nahitabo! ang mga teachers, nang resign, nang larga, para unsa man? para mag domestic helper.....mga doctors nang larga...para unsa? para mag nurse.....so let us focus on the real problem or ang source sa problem. ang katong comment sa journalist, superficial ra to kaayo. ug bato pa to ang gi labay sa ato-a, wa ra ta na bungog ato.

dli man sa ingon nga in-ana. hehe. i know we all deserve more than that apology nga sa papel ra. a public apology nga pinulungan gyud nya is more acceptable, i think.

d nlng gud tngali tagaan ug grabeng pagtagad ning isyuha gud...damage has bin done nman. move ahead na...or pwd sd mo msuggest mog mas maau pa aning paagia nga mo give justice ani.

but hey, this is good. atleast there are venues to express our thoughts. we cant change the damages that has been done to our country, if there is. At least this will, in one way or another, make us socially aware and in touch with recent issues.

right....like i said...challenge ni para sa atong govt officials...if maayo ra gyud unta ang atong life dire, kinsa man gud tawhana ganahan mu larga sa layo ug mag serbisyo sa lain tawo unya ang iyang gani kaugalingon pamilya di niya ma serbisyohan. kinsa man gud ganahan mag take care ug anak sa lain while imong anak di man gani ka kabantay. wala....but because nagkalisod ta dire, mao na bisag kontra sa ilang gusto, no choice! do you think ganahan ang mga teachers nga mahimong D.H? mga doctors nga mahimong nurses? Engr nga mahimong janitor or driver? wala gyud.....
