THE TAGAYTAY Film, Broadcast, and Creative Workshops is open to all individuals who dream of making it big in the fields of motion pictures, video production, the print or multi-media.

You can be a student, an educator, or a professional seeking the path to success as a director, a writer, a cinematographer, a producer, a graphic designer, a production designer, a communicator, or a media manager. The field for media professionals is wide and you can surely find several entry points and your own calling. The Workshops can give you the edge.

Although generally open to everybody, a number of courses will require enrolees to present their resumes and body of work. In some instances, endorsements by peers or superiors will also be asked. The number of students in each class is limited to allow for a tighter interphasing with students.

For Summer 2009, classes we will run May 17-22. The whole festival itself runs from May 17, a Sunday to May 22, a Friday.

We accept volunteers who serve as production assistants for the workshops.

We take great lengths in inviting specific mentors for any course that we offer. However, there will be instances when these professionals can not get away from other career commitments, specially when their production calendars are shuffled. In such cases, we get their own recommendation for other equally competent gurus.

    HOW TO ENROLL

You are required to fill up an enrollment form. Get it at our Metro Manila business office at the Creative Media Professionals Guild of Asia and the Pacific, Perla Mansion, C. Palanca St, Legapsi Village, Makati. Our Phone/Fax (632) 8929421 or mobile 0919-5692902, look for Jing

The cost of each course is P18,000.00. This includes cost of course, workshop kit, food, and lodging, materials, and facilities. Living quarters approximates real-life location shooting conditions (read: spartan and shared). But the food, we assure you, is three-star. For courses that require intensive equipment use, lab fees are added to the course fees. Please see course descriptions.

Reservation fee is P5,000.00 deductable from the total amount. Checks are accepted if made at least week before beginning of course chosen.
