i mean any rich guy can buy an i7 and gtx 295.
but you need a lot of skill to turn a P4 3.0Ghz to 8.0Ghz.

thats what i meant by bragging rights.

Processor: Intel 4 Hyper Threading 3.0 Ghz (2CPU's)

    Mobo: Intel D915GAV

Current Video Card: GEForce 8500GT 512MB

    RAM: 1022MB RAM

    Hard drive: 80 Gigs

    PSU: Stock 400watts

I also want to buy a new casing cus my old one is just the standard type with 1 fan, I want more fans. Can anyone help?

Just build a new 1, otherwise, keep your system. Just save your money to build new rig, upgrading your VC will not worth it I think (coz i believe, your procie will be a bottleneck even though its just a 9600). Im sure AMD rulez by the time you got your system, and now we have I7core. The gap between your system and current system is too far. just my opinion, its your decision.

Dont upgrade, you still got a good rig. Unless you really want to . its not that fast compare to the new systems today, but i still believe its still good.

If your going to upgrade, it seems like your building a new rig, coz still lots of thing to replace (eg. PSU, RAM, Mobo, Procie, VC). just keep it, unless you want to build a new 1. Or start with the PSU, then 1 at a time till you got a better rig, but theres a problem as well. By the time that you believe its complete, your outdated again, so i prefer a 1 time build.

    KEEP IT
