Masters! I need your help. I am planning to buy a new flash gun. I am eying on this flash or the Nissin Di622. Your input is a big help.

I have a nissin di622, works very well. Can be triggered optically but no RF support. Cost very cheap compared to canon speedlights though. No idea about sunpak.

i just recieved my sunpak pz42x earlier through lbc, i bought it online tayhua.com only for 7.2k. nice flash.

recycle time is almost at par.

sunpak has smaller body so more portable.

sunpak has an lcd.

nissin has faster flash speed.

i dont know if this sunpak supports strobe, if yes, then ill go with the sunpak; if not, nissin is far better choice(strobe is still significant at sometimes even if you only plan to use it on mounting).

this is a good alternative flash, TTL compatible, china ebay RF triggers compatible, power ratio from 1/1-1/64, EV adjustment....

only drawback for me is the recycle time... I think 4-6 seconds on full power....
