Baruto Paddlers brings you a 4-month series of kayak races, starting this April 17-18, 2009 @ the Queensland Resort in Punta Engano, Mactan.

The initial race is open to high school and college students.

April 17 - Registration, race practice/briefing
April 18 - Race proper
- Singles Sprints, Racing Category (men and women divisions)
- Singles Sprints, Touring Category (men and women divisions)
- Team Relay (4 members, mixed, with at least one member from the opposite gender)

Registration: Php 350/person - Singles Sprints
Php 1,100/team - Team Relay

due to unavoidable circumstances, the race date has been moved to April 17-18 (friday - saturday).

a kayaking clinic will instead be conducted at the same venue on March 21 (saturday).

yup,there will be another clinic for those who will be joining the race. but we are still also thinking of doing a regular clinic on weekends. we're still looking for a place where we can hold it though. but we can accept bookings for groups, if you're interested.

we prefer na muapil sa clinic ang tanan bro, kay newbies raba atong participants. and registration is only on the first day (april 17). we can't accept registrants on the race day itself to prevent delays.
