Buy 2nd hand car or Fix old car?

Im debating whether or not to continue fixing up our old car, its a 1987 Nissan Maxima (I'll post pics later) or try to sell it and get a 2nd hand car. The easy choice is to buy, pero tight gamay ang budget para ana pero if mao gyud ang best answer then ok siguro. The car is running ok (not perfect pero mulihok ra gihapon!hehe) per medyo grabe na ang wear and tear niya outside and inside. Ang ako sad concern is if ako i-baligya, asa ang maayo nga lugar? better gyud kung direct ang pag-baligya pero ok ra ba kung adto ko ug 2nd hand car dealers mubaligya? asa sad maayo?

And nindut gyud unta is kung ipa-ayo man gani nako, nindut unta kung musaka ra sad iya value aron kung mahalin man gani after, mabawi ra sad nako ang nagasto sa repairs.

More questions kung naa na ang pics, kay I really need some opinions bahin ani nga matter.

why not post it here or in a newspaper like sunstar... adto ka sa car dealers

of course, number one gyud dinhi sa istorya. pero still looking for input on the question nga fix or sell ba. kay if naay way nga ma-ayo lang nako nya musaka iya value then ok ko ana para inig baligya nako, taas-taas sad ang value. Hopefully maka post ko ug pics tonight.

uhmmm a 1987 car, wont get much of a value now, unless if you restore it to the maximum. i mean, customizing it for a car show type..
with that, u cud have the value of the car twice of what ul expect...
i think putting myself on ur situation,, my last resort is selling it,

and also, another thing. if you'll fix d car, you'll also
be suffering on the gas consumption. coz its quite an old car, compared to newer cars today,
with a system that saves gas... posting ur car on the B&S would surely help,

@Jeff: mao sad na ako gihuna-huna, nga basin dako ra kaayo ako gasto pa-gwapo sa auto. regarding sa fuel consumption, ang original plan namo ani kay ipa-convert to LPG para tipid gamay, nya ako unta ipa tune and overhaul ang makina para mas efficient iya dagan. mag kwenta-kwenta pa ko ron sa mga pro's and cons.

i think its bad for the health ang lpg... but, just look at the adv. and disadv. of ur plans...

In case imong ayohon ang car, go for it and find a good shop that can help you improve your car.
In case imong ibaligya to buy another car nga second hand, get one nga dili fuel-injected aron dako ang room for improvement nimo and find a good shop that can help you improve your car.

Ang pangutana, ganahan ba ka moatiman ug car and improve it to get better performance and better fuel efficiency than a brand new car?

One thing for sure, old cars are easier to improve in terms of fuel efficiency and performance than new cars nga hopeless na ka daan sa electronic niya nga maoy nagbuot sa fuel delivery, luoy imong bulsa ana.

do you mean nga better to tweak and tune ang carb? Pila kaha ako magasto kung ayohon nako? things nga need to be worked on kay ang body (needs a new paint job) interior kay ang dashboard kay naay gisi, then of course engine tuning para dili kalas ug gasolina then lpg conversion para tipig gyud
