Default The YOGA SUTRAS of PATANJALI

" Each soul is potentially divine. The goal is to manifest this Divinity
within, by controlling nature, external and internal. Do this either
by work or worship or psychic control or philosophy - by one or more
or all of these - and be free. "

    - from the commentary to The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali

The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali is a foundational text of Yoga.[1] It forms part of the corpus of Sutra literature dating to India's Mauryan period. In Indian philosophy, Yoga (also Raja Yoga to distinguish it from later schools) is the name of one of the six orthodox philosophical schools.[2][3] Though brief, the Yoga Sutras are an enormously influential work on yoga philosophy and practice, held by principal proponents of yoga such as Iyengar (1993: p.xiii) as being of principal importance:
Patañjali fills each sutra with his experiential intelligence, stretching it like a thread (sūtra), and weaving it into a garland of pearls of wisdom to flavour and savour by those who love and live in yoga....[4]

I'm reading, reflecting and meditating The Yoga Sutras and not so much on experimentation.
