1) First off, our congratulations to Loke's List for their (currently) fastest ever Naxx 25 speed clear, can you tell us a little bit about your guild?
Well thank You for that. Lokes List is Denmarks leading guild and what we refer to as "casual-hardcore". We had SWP on farm before nerf on three raid-days a week and have always played like this: not too many hours but all-out when we play; considering the time spent (max. 13 hours a week) we've done really well, but we will never be a world top guild for exactly that same reason. Its a very mature guild with avg. age being around 25, some (me! and others) being much older, having wife and kids, long jobs etc. - We just try to make the best of our time and pick up different challenges like a server first twins kill in SWP and stuff like that.
2) You managed a complete clear in one hour and twelve minutes, how much faster could this be done?
We did three runs total, first one with no preparation whatsoever and five healers, only thing was the order to "pull fast", no one thought about records or anything. That one clocked in at 1.32. Week after we tried a few tricks with a better group and ended up at 1:20 and started thinking we might be able to take the record, which in the meantime had got down to around 1.15. This week wasn't a perfect setup; two trialists on the run, i played a spec I'm not used to (and died three times!), some got stuck in trash and needed a summon etc. - Although we didn't bring our top DPS, there are a few world top 10 kills in there and we clocked in at a WR 1.12:32 this time.
Looking at our mistakes on video (its not pretty all the way) and knowing what our top DPS'ers are capable off, avoiding more trash, less deaths and so forth, 1.07-1.08 is possible for us. Maybe someone will pull off 1.05 before Ulduar, well see!
3) Another group recently cleared Naxx10 in just under an hour, are you going to try for any 10 man speed records?
I saw that video, they did a good job and a big GZ to them. We might give it a shot though, i have some ideas
4) Have you put in any testing time on the PTR, and if so, do like you the difficulty level of the next tier of content?
Being time-constrained as we are, we haven't done much on PTR. We just cant get a raid together on a Friday night like top guilds, our players basically has a life outside wow and I'm fine with that. What we HAVE seen on PTR seemed really easy, unfortunately. I sincerely hope there's something more challenging and that the hardmodes are REALLY hard! Most people know that coming from SWP prenerf to WOTLK has been very boring as far as challenges go; i really hope Blizzard up the stakes again, ALSO for the top 5% of guilds.
