BELLEVUE, Wash. -- A quarter-century ago, American rocket scientists proposed the "Star Wars" defense system to knock Soviet missiles from the skies with laser beams. Some of the same scientists are now aiming their lasers at another airborne threat: the mosquito.
They developed a new lazer gun aimed to kill mosquitoes in super high tech fashion.
Scientist are simply bored...

I used to create meteor showers by burning plastics - killing ants for fun.
using lazers!? wow. high tech ang us.
i guess my version is the low tech Philippine version.
would love to have one of these lazers

kani nga technology og ma gamit nani sa tao kay gamit gud kaayo ni sa tanan. it could reduce the mosquito cases in the country.
