my pc restarts when using media player

have you encountered this kind of problem...my specs:

Athlon 64 3000+
Gigabyte K8NS
GFX 5500 256 MB
80 GB SATA
512 DDR400

sound card problem i gz but not so sure.........

nka kita nko ingn ana nga probs sa ako migo.. gi uninstall ra nmo ang media program.... g installan winamp pg ka human ni play nmn wala na ni reset.. pero wako sure bout saimo problem try chekcing the setup daw....

try re-installing your soundcard drivers... basin naay conflict sa imo soundcard drivers.

Even if i use a different player like NERO, i still have the same problem.

SOUND hardware maybe or sound softwares.....

for HARDWARE chk... try your sound card to another computer.. if its built-in try disabling it and borrow a SCARD from a friend and try it on your computer.

for SOFTWARE fix.... try to uninstall and reinstall drivers... also check for conflicts.. IRQ/s ba kaha....... try to run DirectX and let it diagnose your device drivers... it can sometimes detect problems..
