1. test d mic first, try using another mic / headset, try testing ur soundcard if la prob
2. test ym... try chatting sa lain users sa ym... / reinstall ym
3. sauna sa amo office dili pwede magamit ang cam ug mic, probably gi limit ni sa server / software na ila security, never tried to ask...
4. try other softs that uses mic para call
5. last resort ISP... or dump ur computer...

FYI: wala ugok diri... were just trying to help... let us not limit ourselves into 1 solution... this will teach d newbies/juniors here how to troubleshoot

What im trying to say actually we don't have to call our ISP right away in this kind of problem specially you have the Internet.

Kung nakatawag namu sa ilang Techsupport mangutana na sila "naa ba ka Internet" then mo tubag pod ka naa. Then dili na problema namu kung why dili ka maka YM.

That's why we have this kind of forum to know and ask suggestion how to troubleshoot this kind of issues. For me calling ISP is my last option in case issue gyud nila. Peace man.

Why don't you try other IM services like skype. If still voice does not work most probably one of your mics are 1.) broken 2.) not installed or your sound card might be 1.) busted 2.) not installed or one of your IM installed has not yet been configured to optimize voice communication and LASTLY your ISP turned off VOIP (if this is the case then change to another ISP, or try to ask them to not block VOIP).

try a sound check just to confirm that ur mic s working or ur speaker to, if wala:

check the socket sa imo headset bcn nabali nimo ug taod.. green is for speaker\head phone(audio out) and pink is the mic(in), just match up the colors sa imo audio and mic.. any failure for this sound check it's ur headset is the prob or maybe u 4got to install ur sound driver or u have defective sound card..

try checking ur setting sa sound manager or whatever u have there bcn ang imo mic naka-mute.. it's unusual nga problem na sa isp if d ka kacontact through voice call.. failure at this bcn imo YM na..
