migzz, i agree. Wala ko ka getz unsa'y sayop. May remind everyone that MATH is an EXACT science. Bsan kapila nato bali-balihon ang kalibutan, the fact remains that's 0.1 x 60 = 6

Unless a genius here can prove that mathematical fact otherwise.

sakto nga .10 x 60 = 6, pero dili dapat ana-on pag compute kay dili man dapat ana-on pag perceive.Â* per second charging man kaha?Â* dili pareho ug value for money, so dili angay compute-on ug ingon ana.Â* SO DILI PAREHO!

if one says that .10 x 60 = 6 PhP, is correct. natural! that is math, an exact science as somebody here elaborately said but when one says that PAREHO RA then that is not correct.

the common mistake among us filipinos is we tend to always convert USD to PhP whenever we spend here. di man na dapat ingon ana-on coz when one EARNS in dollars, one also SPENDS in dollars or its corresponding value regardless if one spends in PESO, all the more reason one should not "compute".Â* Mas makasabot pa ta kung hinatag ang Dollars.

anyway, let's not confuse denomination with value or let's not confuse formulas of math with the language of economics.

Unless you could put an amount in for whatever "value" you are trying to point out then its useless to argue. In management they say a goal has to be measurable/quantifiable otherwise its not worth pursuing. Btw, economics is just as numerical and everything whether tangible or not is placed with a "percieved value" nothing is left hanging. Until then P0.1 x 60 is P6. =)

OT: With per-second charging... on average you get charged 30 seconds less (the last minute of your call).

I.e. if your call lasts 1 m 23 s... you get charged for 2 min with per-minute, 1 min 23s with per second. It averages out to being charged 30 secs less per call with per second than with per minute. Basically you save an average of P3 per call with per second charging, compared to per minute.

However, it's different if they have a minimum time i.e. minimum 1 minute. Then the amount you save would depend on how many calls you make that are over 1 min (i.e. per-second saves you an average of P3 every call over 1 minute, doesn't save you any money with calls less than 1 minute).

Does Globe have a minimum time/charge for calls?

i think what LytSplr meant was that "per minute" and "per second" is different. this is best explained by bfg9000.

It doesn't ask to shut down Sun. It only asks that they not get new subscribers (because they are already OVERSUBSCRIBED) without improving their service. That's all.

Actually with GLOBE's per second charging, the only savings is for all your conversations via mobile phone, mo sobra ug pipila ka seconds ug dili maka abot ug one minute. Ex. 10 min and 15 seconds. you're savings is instead of paying for P6 on the 15 seconds you only get to pay P1.5. That's all, que 1 min. 15 sec, 10 min. 15 sec, 100 min. 15 sec. it's only on the last seconds ka maka save. THAT'S ALL.

Funny lang kaayo how GLOBE refuse even the per 6 second charging a few years ago, tapos karon ila nang gi offer. Ngano kaha noh
