a moon shot this morning before i went to hear the dawn mass

@minuano27- thanks, actually its 1/320 f8, the 1/400 was a bit under at f8 and i only took 2 shots, this one and the 1/400 coz i was running late for the mass

heres a sample shot from the canon ef-s 17-85is

taken at 85mm f5.6, 1/10s, IS on, iso 800, no flash at approx. 30cm from subject. canon 300d
i think this is a good lens after all

ahh..ok...well, even if it was 1/400, you'd have to go down 1 stop anyway so the result would be the same. i usually shoot at f/4 and bracket it from 1/320 to 1/600, but i've found that f/4@1/400 gives the best result....

i was using the canon 70-300is, ako max opening is f4.5 ra and thought of stopping down to get better details
will try your settings tomorrow morning, kinanglan sayo mata para dili ma late sa mass
