why do people spend alot of money for car audio when theres a law that you can only play car stereo upto certain decibels and could get a ticket if you play it louder than that?
why do people modify cars to make it run faster when the fastest allowable speed on the highway is only 75MPH?
why do people buy corvettes,ferrari or mercedes benz when a toyota corolla will do the same job bringing them from point A to point B?
you guys get the point?
its not always about money.not everybody builds computer(i wont even call it an investment) for the sole purpose of making money out of it.its a leasure just like watching TV.its there to entertain.(atleast for me it is).and yes.im a very big online player and i do play games on my PC.i also used to work for a videocard company designing video card boxes.

well i was just wondering what these guys do for a living. coz coming from my point of view, it's such a waste of technology if its only intended for playing games. well not including pro-gamers and avid gamers such as urself who may make money out of playing games or in competitions. In the hands of an artist these are such rigs that could profoundly capitalize on their potentials and excel them in their respective fields. i totally have nothing against modders and other tekkys, all i'm asking is what do they do with such powerful rigs. just plain curiousity i guess. Don't get me wrong too coz i'm not much into fancy cars but you do know that most of the guys here who have fancy cars race their toys too and enter in audio competitions. if they just drive around the city with thier expensive cars then their just plain old filthy rich. simple as that.

@gemcadz: nice challenge out there! ever considering the darkest thing that a computer son-of-the-chip can think other than play and create?
for me i love these men modifying their hardwares. Why? there is a purpose to it. Games, 3d animations, work, etc.

Have we missed metioning those who mod to hack, and f*@# the net with their trojans, worms and viruses?
