Canon to Nikon Shiftee

Didto ko ug Sunstar office ganina kay nitanaw ko ug mga sale items nila nga mga Canon. and i bought one. The manager told me that they are shifting from Canon to Nikon...for the reason daw nga ang canon kung maguba dugay daw maayo sa service center, so they decided to shift to Nikon. Tungod ang Nikon nila nga units wala pa daw naguba.

So, unsay mga opinion sa mga Canonians?

ask lang ko sa opinions ninyo mga boss ha...

Bag.o pako sa DSLR pero dli man gyud na kalikayan inig ka dugayan nga maguba gyud ang butang (experience nako sa pagkahilig nako gadgets). naa raman na sa actual user gyud. kung maabot ang time nga maguba na ang imu Nikon, pada pa sa manila ang unit kay wala man service center diri. Kung ok raka ana, then wala man cguro pili ma Canon or Nikon kay puro man sila maayo nga brand. apas apas raman cguro ni sila.

depende ra na sa mugamit bai...each brand has its pros and cons, so if wa sila naka uyon sa ilang canon, ilaha rapud nang opinion...

even if they use nikon or canon it's the way they use the cameras that made them break down. these guys are photojournalists and will usually use burst mode in any instance. i've seen them in action, in fact, i've shot beside alex badayos in one event and couldn't help notice him take 4 or 5 frames of a single action in the event, and they were using semi-pro level cameras 20Ds if i'm not mistaken. so you can imagine the lifespan of these cameras with the way the use it on a daily basis.

i teased JJ Neri, president of Sunstar, about it asking him "what if your nikon breaks down? where will you bring it?". he just laughed.

I'm sticking with Canon.

its not a canon-nikon thing man cguro. its just bati gyud ug service ang canon PERIOD!

im a canon user ... unfortunately ... tinuoray nga dili gyud maayo ug service ang canon. ika duha na nako gipaayo ako cam sa ila ... same prob ... wala gyud maayo. two years pa. 30D. tsk tsk tsk. abtan pa gyud ug upat ka bulan sa first admission sa ospital. ang ikaduha mga two months ... hahaaaayyyy ... may pa cguro nag nikon na lang ko. unsaon ta man nga nasugdan na man ang litni nga canon. eniweys ... s#$% happens!

and john grisham uses a MAC! (and the built in wordprocessor with it! hehehe)
