While the global financial meltdown still lingering, young city dwellers are trying to cut their expenditure. More and more white-collars in Beijing are carrying out a plan which sets the ceiling on their weekly expenses at 100 yuan or 15 US dollars, which was only enough for a fancy meal previously.

I learned from my folks that spending money is as easy as 1-2-3, but earning it is a different story. They stress the importance of saving for a rainy day, something I still find hard to do. Haha.

Last week, I dropped by Booksale sa Robi to find quality books for my niece and nephew. Mga one hour ko nangukay ug libro nga appropriate sa ila respective age. A bit kapoy, but it was all worth it. I got four books (three activity books, one story book) for only 160Php. Amazing! And to think tarong pag dagway ang mga libro.

That was when I realized (for real) that not all good things have to be brand-new and expensive. When on the lookout for affordable but quality buys, a little patience can go a long way.

^natagam pod ko sauna Dee kay nasamad akong toe and after a week it got infected. I was in pain for about a month. namatay og na-ukang jud akong kuko. sukad adto ako nalang mag limpyo sa akong kuko. talagsa nalang kaayu ko mo adto sa salon nya kung mo adto man, ingnan jud nako ang manicurista nga maghinay og di lugiton akong kuko bahala na di kaayu malimpyo lol. di na pod ko og nail polish kay nang yellow akong kuko ana sauna.

I also wear my hair short coz i want to use less shampoo and save time drying it hahahaha. the challenge though: how to reduce the cost of getting a hair trim/cut which is about every 2 months for me. it costs about 250-300 so i'm looking at slashing that. one thing is for sure, i can't cut my own hair and i don't think my friends and family can, either

Why naman so mahal ur trim? Someone trims my hair for 60p every two months and well... it is pretty nice man pud. Nung nasa Manila ako...i used to just take a pair of scissors and trim away. Layered cut and a nice wave makes it easier to hide imperfect cuts. hahahahaha.

I have been doing my nails since my 2nd yr in high school. I guess practice makes perfect? lol. I do get them done once in a while in a salon though para pampering ko lang sa self ko. har har.
