Where in the Philippines can I get free immunization for my child?

@MelvintheGreat, Thanks for responding. If you can still remember, I'd like to know which of the many kinds of immunizations was the barangay's health clinic able to provide your niece. Were they the basic ones only? Also, can you tell me the name of this barangay?

Onto my next question then... if barangay health centers are only able to provide basic immunization, can anyone give me a suggestion on how I can minimize the cost of the vaccinations? Maybe refer me to a pedia who doesn't charge as much? Or any other options you can think of to minimize the cost?

der is free immunizations n all brangay health centers bt wd rgards 2 d immunization for pneumonia dats HIB nd 4 d diarhea dats rotatech...sa akong pedia ang hib 3000 ra 3 njections na cya, nd sa rota tech dts 2500 per oral so 7500 ang 3...dats cheaper na gni kysa uban pedia

yup correct sa health centers..

im also a newbie mom too! gastoan nalang jud namo kay its important man. Bisan optional na we'll try our best na ma-injectkan jud amo baby who's 4 mos old..

I agree, its really expensive. One shot ranges from 900 up to 4,500! Ya 4,500 for the IPV/IPD per shot nya mura 2 times na ihatag sa baby.

My pedia said naa injection free ra sa mga barangays pero naa specific "ingredient" na wala natangtang that causes the baby na magka fever.. I forgot the name ato na injection.. Whereas kana available sa mga Pedia its mahal pero dili na magkahilanat ang baby.. I dunno if its true though, wala man ni nakasuway sa barangay. =) so far, wala man pud nagkafever sa Baby sa injection sa pedia..

yup agree ko ani ni kyhmm ang amoa twins gane amoa pedia is ang e encourage namo is ang 4n 1 kay wla jud fever after den wlay side effects jud..nice man pod kaayo..ang sa bry health center i think kna ramn mga basic injections like dpt,opv,bcg mga hepa wla man cguro clay booster..grabe jud to amoa kay twins so doble pod amoa bayad sa pedia bt thanks god we survive...2years old na amoa twin karon unya dili pod sakitin,seldom lang cla magfever..wala pod ko nagbasol bahala mhal kay worth it man pod total nig dako nila pwede nmn dli mhalon pod...ang kana sa pprivate nga injection naa mn gud nay special contents nga dili present sa health center so mao na lahe ra eya efect...murag sa brgy health cnter rajud naay free nga injection

To those in the know regarding immunization given for free at health centers, is it true na naay difference between sa injection nila kaysa sa injection na pedia mismo ang gahatag?

Like Khymm's Pedia suggested, naa specific "ingredient" na wala natangtang sa immunization availabe for free at local health clinics that causes the baby na magka hilanat.

Nagkahilanat man pud ang akung baby katung giinjectionan sya ng akung Pedia this Feb 18. katung gihatag na immunization cost me 3800 already...sunod gahilanat pa, pero konti lang. Maybe yung for free maghilanat gyud ang baby ng husto? Anyone well-informed about this? Please share Thanks to all who responded so far!

I AM A DADDY. SWERTE LANG KO KAY WIFEY WORKS IN TALISAY DISTRICT HOSPITAL. free ang bcg hepa polio vaccines. and now ang booster nila is provided. kay under DOH man ni hospital diri. wednesday ang sked sa immunization sa mga babies. i thinks its nationwide ni. including those in brgy. health centers. ang nakaparat lang aning health centers kuno. balita lang ni. na dili sila mo immunize if di ka didto nagpa prenatal. ngehh..... dako ka masave. ako pa inject sa ako pedia. is the MMR, CHICKEN POX.
one advice lang haron di pud ka mamahalan mader. if naa ka kaila or close na nurse. you can buy the vaccine and siya lang inject sa imo baby..
