unsay update ining salidaha?
Wala may nag update, ako na lang.
THE STORY SO FAR... (dili ni copy-paste ha)
Minori is aware that Ryuuji has feelings for her, but is afraid of going into a relationship with him since she thinks it would ruin her friendship with Taiga.
Ami points out to Ryuuji that he is acting like a father, given the fact that he was somewhat annoyed at Taiga being paired off with other guys. She herself is annoyed that Ryuuji doesn't show much interest in her and even goes so far as to ask for a second chance, for them to start all over again. Ryuuji does not hear this though and Ami refuses to repeat what she said.
President Yuusaku organizes a Christmas party designed to help students get a date with the person they admire. Ryuuji invites Minori, but she refuses. Taiga, determined to become the "angel of happiness", visits Minori and convinces her to go to the party as a gift for Ryuuji.
She suddenly realizes what she did, knowing that Minori will inevitably fall for Ryuuji. She then concludes that she can no longer be with Ryuuji and she finds herself crying in front of her apartment. Minori sees this on the way to the party and rejects Ryuuji once she got there.
I feel sad for Ryuuji. Taiga is giving him up for Minori's sake while Minori is doing the same. So unsa na man lay fallback niya? Si Ami... hehehe AMI FTW.
Minori used to be such a funny character, but now they're showing just how troubled she is inside. Can't wait for next week's ep. I'll be reading the novel in the meantime.
I kinda like Minori and Ryuuji pair. ü but after this ep, i'm now for Taiga, Ryuuji pair~!
Finished watching Toradora 20.
Wow. where do I start? Starting out as one of the season's more decent shows, Toradora has now become one of the best romance anime I've seen so far.
So much character development is present in this episode that it leaves me wondering how the hell they were able to cram that into 20 minutes. Taiga realizes that Minori rejected Ryuuji because of her and took it upon herself to distance herself from Ryuuji.
Ami still displays characteristics of omnipotence, since it seems she's the only one who truly understands the complicated relationships of those around her. notes that while Ryuuji may have been hurt with Minori's reaction, other parties may have also been hurt or are hurt with the way things are going. She was most probably talking about Taiga, but she may have also been talking about her own feelings for Ryuuji.
Speaking of Taiga, she is able to interact with Yuusaku casually now among other signs of independence and maturity. This surprises Ryuuji.
It's nice to see Minori return to her eccentric ways, although now it's more of a conscious effort rather than sincere feelings. When Ryuuji greeted her, she even had to stop and muster the courage to face him normally. She even displays a cuter side now, even cursing Taiga for tricking them into holding hands.
Now what I love about this series is that most of the situations the characters find themselves in are rather believable. change nothing from the show's plot and turn it into a live action drama and I'm guessing that it wouldn't feel out of place. This show, unlike other shows who share the same category, is not plagued by resets between their relationships. If there is a romantic development between any of the characters, then the show actually remembers that it happened.
Another thing is that nothing is thrown in your face or feels forced. The developments in each episode are usually subtle, just tiny little snippets that make you stop and think, "hey, I know how that feels!"
Again Kawashima Ami remains my favorite character in this episode. She actually has a diplomatic relationship with Taiga now; She actually bought Taiga something (a swimsuit, I presume) from her trip to Hawaii. But what really got me is that among all the characters, it seems that she keeps the most bottled inside. She exclaims "oh my?" upon seeing Minori and Ryuuji walking to school together, but she doesn't go as far as being too direct with her feelings.
It's rather cute, she tries her best to drop hints here and there but she never actually tells Ryuuji how she feels. After all, she has her pride to keep. Reminds me of something I hear from a lot of my female friends:
"Oo uy, ganahan man ko niya pero magpakipot pud ko, ingnon pa lang easygirl ta."
Until now, episode 18 remains my personal favorite.
Ami (to Ryuuji): You've been making mistakes all along. Why don't you wake up before you get hurt even more? You should forget everything and just start over.
Then... you could also give me another chance.
Ryuuji: Huh? What?
Ami: Never mind. Just pretend you didn't hear anything.
<sigh>
<watches Gurren Lagann to restore lost macho.>
haha ok ra na bai, nindot btaw ang salida. nindot ang scriptwriting, nya dli cliche ug mga scenes. ep 19 gihapon the best, choi kaayu 2 ang drama ni taiga a2.
i've watched this anime!!
and i REALLY love it!! i'm waiting for the release of ep 21!!
i'm soooooo excited.. The element is quite unusual like the anime Lovely Complex but here, it's like 2 bestfriends, trying to give each other a chance.. nyahahah. xD

It seems that Ryuuji and Ami were about to have a moment, but Minori got in the way. She's also annoyed that Minori can't be honest about her feelings for Ryuuji.
Now I understand why Ami can't be too forward with her feelings. If she does confess to Ryuuji, it would be for naught since Ryuuji's too infatuated with Minori to even take Ami seriously. So her next best option would be to wish for Ryuuji's happiness with Minori, but that doesn't happen since Minori isn't being true to herself.
In short, Minori has what Ami wants but (Minori) is taking it for granted, that is why she's so pissed. I think. Will wait for subs.
yay! another Great anime! i will watch for this promise..thanks for the info...wheheheh
wow, that much info without the subs? well, i guess action speaks pretty loud after all.
anyway, isn't it that Minori doesn't want to be involved with Ryuuji for Taiga's sake? And hey, we find out in this ep Taiga's feelings for Ryuuji. Or so what the subbed version says.![]()
too much catfight in this ep.
I'm just guessing at this point, but Ami got run over by Minori. On a sled, was it?
And yes, Taiga seems to have revealed her true feelings to Ryuuji. And Minori is doing it for Taiga's sake. everyone is doing it for another's sake. It's like selling your PC so you can buy your brother a new amp for his guitar only to find out he has sold his guitar to buy you anew video card.
Except maybe for Ryuuji.
