They dont really play "jazz" per se though but they do play gud old classics, mga motown and whatnot. i really wish naay pure fusion jazz club dri cebu like ny jazz club where jazz students/enthusiasts get to do their thing for the night of sweet sweet jazz music

jazz n blues ra'y closest thing to what you're looking for. sa plantation pod and a few resorts have jazz in the evenings at their restos.

hahaha.... if a person would open a place concentrating on jazz and blues....like a jazz and blues bar and just like here in California they have jam night. Theres a house band and anybody with their gear can go up the stage and play blues and jazz per song..... would a lot people come and support it?

I was thinking of like for older crowds or young ones who are into this type of music.

^^^The Outpost has an open mic every Thurs. I think where customers can go onstage and jam among themeselves pero bisag unsa lang ang tukaron be it blues, rock, jazz, whatever.
I think wla gyuy true jazz/blues bar sa cebu, ang jazz n blues mura man standards and acoustic ang kasagaran tirada contrary to its namesake.
I think opening a blues/jazz bar here is viable, though I'm not too sure of the current cebuano taste in music, that remains to be seen. Its very hopeful nonetheless.
