Assunta de Rossi has joined her younger sister Alessandra "Alex" de Rossi as the newest star of ABS-CBN.

After Alex's controversial move to the Kapamilya network, Assunta finally decided to be with her by becoming part of the network's hit afternoon series "Pieta."

Assunta portrays the character of Sabrina. Sabrina is Amanda's (Cherie Gil) younger sister who also holds Amanda’s secrets.

The questions that beg to be answered are: What secrets will be revealed with Sabrina's appearance? How will she change Amanda and Rigor's (Ryan Agoncillo) life?

Assunta, one of the talented actresses in her generation, won the 2002 Gawad Urian as Best Actress in the film "Hubog."

Her other notable projects include the films "Sisid" in 2001, "Jologs" in 2002, and "Pinay Pie" in 2003.

One of her most memorable roles was when she played Adriana in the TV drama series "Vietnam Rose," also starring the Diamond Star Maricel Soriano.

Jake Cuenca's car stoned

Actor Jake Cuenca said that he is still clueless as to who was responsible for stoning and damaging his Ford Expedition early Monday morning.

An ABS-CBN News report said that Cuenca was in residence in Mandaluyong City when the incident occurred around 4 a.m..

Cuenca said he believes his car was just accidentally stoned since he doesn't know anyone who holds a grudge against him.

Aside from the damage from stoning, the Ford Expedition's windshield also has a hole apparently caused by a gunshot.

Cuenca refused to give other details, but gave his official statement with the authorities.

Star Magic, the firm that handles ABS-CBN talents, also confirmed the incident, adding that Cuenca was asleep when it happened.

As of posting, members of the entertainment media are still trying to get additional information from Cuenca
