i think dri within cebu murag dli kaayo issue ang overvoltage / low voltage. im using only my simple surge suppressor that i assembled for my pc. so far so good.transient voltage problema ta kay usahay servo-controlled avr's dli ka-apas sa kadali (transient)mahitabo.servo controlled avr's have slow reaction time.relay types just like ordinary avr's pakapin sa mga brandnew cpu's pas-pas reaction time pero comaparator type man sad iay saligan (maghulat pa cya sikaran nga mo action siya hi or lo).probinsya pa himoun grabe overvoltage kung mag kaadlawon, low voltage early evening plus brownout nga kalit-on kalit-off makaguba gyud sa mga appliances.
do these AVRs have 2 or 3 prong plug?
I'm looking for an AVR with ground but mostly, i see only two-prong.
stavol is 3 prong. naa parts wthin cebu city that has low voltage or fluctuating voltage. at my friends house in labangon sige lang tingog iyang servo voltage regulator when it is in use.
relay type pas pas reaction time? thats interesting. i was told that relay types have a range where it wont adjust the voltage until it reaches below the limit like for example 220v to 180v. so voltage will have to go down below 180 before it "regulates" the voltage back to 220v. but maybe i was misinformed. servo types on the other hand adjust the voltage everytime there's a change no matter how small the fluctuation.
servo>>>all
me works fine with servo especially i series pa nimo sa ups.nindot kaayo ang power output.
@10-x:
tinuod na imo bro, but in our case in negros even stavol bro lutsan gihapon. as for relay types, maghulat lagi sa iya comparator kung unsa range usa siya mosiakd ug action.kanang ingon nimo nga mag-tingog kung naa changes sa servo types, tinuod sad na, but transient is transient.its super fast and quite fatal to most appliances.but i know stavol is a good product.im just sharing my experiences here. no offense sa tanan. knowledge sharing man ta, d b? peace.try to assemble a simple surge suppressor, i know makatabang
salamat sa sharing bro. the question is "Best AVR locally available?" available ang servo ug relay type. asa man ang Best?Originally Posted by minimouse
bag-o lang ko naka experience bro, guba akong video card, memory, power supply, etc. sauna ok man unta among power diri sa pardo, ni daghan na tingali mi nikalit man lang pangaguba nga years naman nag dagan akong computer. every week dunay maguba libog kaayo troubleshooting. pag-palit nako servo-type ni stop na pangaguba parts sa computer.
mas maayo tingali duha ka AVR, servo and relay type. syaro dili ma regulate quickly! but unsa may nindot arrangement? outlet->servo->relay->pc or outlet->relay->servo->pc?Originally Posted by minimouse
