Hello sa tga Cebu!!!

I'm planning to go back there this coming next year and I am so excited to buy all Cebu's Original foods from the affordable prices to the regular ones.

I'm not from Cebu actually, but half of my life is part of it 'coz I always spend my free time (almost vacation times) there in Cebu. This coming next year, I want to buy the foods that I haven't eaten for a long time... and made as pasalubong as well to my friends here in states.

I am going to ask the help of my fellow istoryans to help me and to all future balikbayans!!! about Cebu's original products!

I would like to ask your cooperation about buying specific foods... Their names, prices (bisag tugma2x lang gud, but if you don't have any idea how much would be it, k lang!!! ), and how can we get it!

I know I/We could just buy them from the grocery markets their in Cebu like Metro Ayala or SM but I want it to buy it fresh and not that expensive like other supermarkets sell.

Mas maayo if mo suggest mo og mga wet market, I know one, katong sa colon man cguro to' which they are very famous on selling different kinds of bulads which are very affordable, like tocino bulad, nipis na bulad, pusit na bulad, and different bulads na ONLY CEBU nimo makit-an. aside from that, they sell the most delicious Dried Mangos in the whole world, katong tatak Cebu dried Mangos jud!!! (Here, I found them very expensive, ang isa ka dried Mango pouch, I guest, second to the biggest pouch costs $20+), and also the very famous Otap!!!

Plus if you have some pictures about its product, are very welcome to post here in this thread!!!

By sharing our knowledge about Cebu's famous specialties and originali-ties product's could help other fellow Filipino!!!

In fact, aside from myself, this coming summer (June) there are a lot of my friends who are excited to spend their summer vacation there in Cebu!!! and asking me if what kind of foods that they can buy which only in Cebu can be found.

(ask ko sa mga mods if pwde ba ni ma himo og sticky para it would be just easier for us to find this thread, not only for my fellow Cebuanos but also for all the people who are planning to visit Cebu and enjoy the great delicacies that the place offers. I know naa na'y isa ka sticky thread that discuss about FoodStop there in Cebu, but I haven't found one that sells famous products that can be made as pasalubong. )
