Angel Locsin says she is now doing well

Actress Angel Locsin on Saturday said she has yet to regain her strength after she got infected with dengue last week.

“Happy ako na binigyan ako [ng doctor] ng chance na mag-rest dito sa bahay. Nami-miss ko ‘yong aso [ko]. Mas nanghihina ako sa hospital…kapag nagbabago surroundings [ko] nahihilo pa din ako pero ok [na] ako,” Locsin told “Entertainment Live.”

This was Locsin’s first interview after she was discharged from a Quezon City hospital on January 27. She was admitted to St. Luke’s Medical Center on January 22.

Locsin was advised by her doctor to take a full rest, leaving her no choice but to miss the premier of “Love Me Again (Love Down Under)” in Europe.

She said she had apologized to Piolo Pascual, her leading man in the film, when he visited her in the hospital because she could not accompany him there.

“Sinabi ko sa kanya na pasensiya na. Hindi ako pinayagan nang doctor pero kung ako lang sana ang masusunod, [siguro] nauna pa ako sa kanya,” she said.

She also apologized to her Filipino fans in Europe for missing the premier.

Angel Locsin stars in Pinoy version of Korean Drama “Only You”

ngel will be playing the role of Jillian, Sam Milby as TJ, and Diether Ocampo as Jonathan. “Remake po siya ng Koreanovela and I’m sure… Tayo kasing mga Pinoy, mahilig kumain. Ako, guilty ako doon. So, itong ano namin, gagawing fusion ng Korean food at saka Filipino food. So, I think magugustuhan ito ng mga Pinoy. Maraming matututunan.” shared Angel.

“Only You” will be directed by Rory Quintos and is set to be aired on May, 2009.
