Hi,

Just created my second account here. I duno what happened to my previous one. Anyway, I need anybody's opinion, thoughts, IDEAS, experience (if needed), violent reactions, insults (probably the least needed), what not, on a RIG that I'm trying to get a hold on.

*gaming rig
*40k budget (CPU only)
*possibly, OC processor to around 500-600Mhz (not sure with the terminology here)
*I've checked threads, forums, not only on this site, but a few trusted sites as well, and found out, Palit HD4870 satisfies me. (open for suggestions though)
*Quad Core may not be an option for me, since I'm only into gaming and not multi tasking. Although, I know some would still suggest Quad Core is still better. (still open for any violent reaction)

Here's what I've come up so far:
Intel C2D E7400
GA EP45 - UD3R (dont have plans for CF or SLi)
Palit HD4870 Sonic 512mb (I only have 19" LCD)
2X2G Corsair DHX PC6400 800Mhz
WD 250G SATA
Samsung 22x Lighscribe
CoolerMaster CM690
Silverstone ST56F
CoolerMaster V8 (time to add few cash on the budget)

Sir, wala na stock sa ST56F but if you can wait, we recommend OCZ fatality 550 watts (coming next month) modular cabling system PSU, or you can go a bit higher for ST60F (600 watts) PSU.

ok na man imo specs but you might want to check the quads.

I suggest you change your proc to an E8400 or E8500. Also you might want to try corsair's dominators.. =)

if you dont plan to play gtaiv - any core2 will do.
if you do plan to play it, id suggest to go for quad core at least.

@jiro, so bro, even if a E8400 3.0 oc'ed to lets say, 3.6, still cant handle, better yet, maglisud og run for a GTA IV?
and guys, so, based on the specs that I posted above, if you would mark it, or rate it, from 1-10, and 10 is the highest (Cebu base gamer's rig), what could be the score for that?
