Let me repeat this... no person has the absolute moral authority to judge any atheist by their being a non-believer of God. To pass judgment upon an atheist by reason of you being a Christian, Muslim, a Hindu or whatever is bigotry.

The laws of the state or secular morality govern the morals of a society and it is only on this basis that an atheist can be judged (not by religions) and no other.
Thats exactly what i meant brown.. you and i can determine if a person is immoral or not by his/her deeds and not by his/her religion or particular sect!

In fairness to atheists... religious people is associated with self-righteousness and violence... history proves it all the time.
Is there much violence in Buddhism? I guess they are more peaceful compared to other religions and no religion (Atheists in particular)

I don't know that atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered patriots. This is one nation under God. -- George Herbert Walker Bush

mas grabi pa ma neglect ang mga atheist sa society kay sa bayot ug mao na.

dli..im in this not because kai cool im not in this just to be different or pa cool2x lang..it took me sometime to change..i came from a very religious background..i once dreamt of becoming a priest..but i realized that there's really nothing there..nothing..just the abyss..i do believe that man created god just to tap into his own real capabilities or to make sense of his own existence..god is nothing more than just a temporary conduit in achieving the things that you want in this world..but most people are just too dependent in this conduit..just like munzter's "crutch" story...the capabilities of our brain hasn't reached its full potential...so i guess we just have to rely in this conduit for the meantime..in my case i don't need it anymore..i've had enough of it..cguro ikaw nagkinahanglan paka..or other people..that's fine with me..if there's a god then i guess im wrong but i believe that with his alleged ocean of mercy he'll understand why i stopped believing in him..if there's a god..and i am willing to convert back if i do get convinced..so far..my stand is clear...THERE IS NO GOD...THERE WASN'T ANY IN THE FIRST PLACE AND THERE NEVER WILL BE!

ang usa ka taphaw nga atheist will never be able to tell coherently why he/she believes in atheism..and perhaps might be swayed at the most convincing theistic explanation..I am not closing my doors to this god..pero so far im not convinced AND IF THERE'S REALLY A GOD...I FIRMLY BELIEVE THAT IT'S NOTHING LIKE THE GOD A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE TAUGHT TO BELIEVE IN.
