    Bro Necro, that is NOT what I meant. Ang pasabot nako, is atheism immoral in itself? Does it follow that an atheist always do immoral things just because he doesn't believe in God? Is it right to judge atheists according to standards set by a particular religion? (Please see my reply to the bigoted answer of SioDenz)

    Let me repeat this... no person has the absolute moral authority to judge any atheist by their being a non-believer of God. To pass judgment upon an atheist by reason of you being a Christian, Muslim, a Hindu or whatever is bigotry.

    The laws of the state or secular morality govern the morals of a society and it is only on this basis that an atheist can be judged (not by religions) and no other.

    anyway, i can't blame the "good" people for judging Atheism. like reg said, naa nay STIGMA sa society ang atheism. negative na kaayo ug tan-aw ang mga taw, mao ng daghan saway. peope tend to get close-minded when talking about Atheism. there was one post nga akong nabasahan ni ana siya nga NAYAWAAN daw ang mga Atheist. bwahahahahaha
    sakto jud ka bro, daghan jud mga fundamentalist Christians na magthink na ang katong mga atheist kay gipangtempt ni Satan. matod pa nila, nalipay na kuno si satanas. Satan daw doesn't care if people don't know him, he's happy enough to lead people away from God.

    but extremists na pud na cla na muingon ana. I think the Philippines nagkadaghan na man pud ang mga open minded Catholics, so no worries sa mga atheists kay more and more people will accept na not everyone can share the same beliefs.

    so yaw lang mo generalize sa tanan mga theists kay not all believers are fundamentalists and extremists. I think mas daghan gani ang open minded believers kaysa sa mga extremists dre!

    tinuod ka! morality!=faith

    some people have a lot of faith, but are very immoral. and vice versa.

    atheism is not a question man pud of immorality, but of faith. you can have no faith, but be one of the most moral people on earth. morality is not just set by religion, but the whole society as well. bisan cguro mga atheists dre, magthink na immoral ang two people having *** in public, right lady_blackrose? and yes, we should not judge people of other religions according to our religion, but according to the secular morality standards.

    I'm just being objective my friend based from I have read in Communist Manifesto regarding the godless societies of Mao Tse Tung where he ordered the killings of millions of people especially those who were religious and missionaries. I'm not here to condemn Atheism per se because that is actually an option and a belief - belief in NO GOD!

    Note: Kill tally: 14 to 20 million deaths from starvation during the 'Great Leap Forward'. Tens of thousands killed and millions of lives ruined during the 'Cultural Revolution'.

    mr.regnauld, a god-less state should not be automatically be branded as atheists per se. maybe mao tse tung was just being over-reacting to his godlessness. he could have chosen to be an impassive godless (atheist) leader, but he chose not to. if you're just being objective, then, i think it should only be proper not to relate being an atheist to a god-less madman who killed many. our theist religionist neighbors are fully capable of murdering as well.

    That's what I really meant. Mao was actually an exception and it also includes a lot of Atheists leaders like Stalin and others. Maybe that was more than just a coincidence. Just my thought.
