There is nothing to compare mga bai. Lahi ra ni sila na field. Although some says that under ang compe sa ece, they are partly right. Since puro naa bag o from time to time ang technology, nag ka anam ka complicated ang mga studies. CompE and ECE kay udner siya sa isa ka dept before sa TC. When the population grew in CompE, they need to detach from the department. Nakig share ra ang compe ato ug dept, dili fused ang compe sa ece. so dili pod ka maka ingon nga under ang compe sa ece. If you can check the dept sa ece, naay tupad na room sa present room sa chairman sa ece. Kanang tupad na room is the room for the chair of compe.

Anyway, all in all, they are all different, although same on some cases, pero ang basics lang. They have their own unique fields.

Administration are planning to create a new COLLEGE, not to rename a course. This will be the College of Computer Studies. And dili siya ibutang sa College of Arts and Sciences. A NEW COLLEGE. It will cover the Dept. of Computer Engg, Dept. of CS, and Dept. of IT (CS and IT will have its own dept) Same ra tanan curriculum. Ang kalahian lang kay ang budget, mas centralized. Dako na makuha na budget gikan sa taas. Pero these are still plans lang. Pero I myself am very excited sa kani na plan. I hope this will push through because it will open more doors to the 3 depts.

Yup. Daghan dili ganahan. Pero bisan pa nga mag open forum, contact talk, and other activities na pwd mag strya ang students ug faculty, and mag decide, ang administrators. just like sa long hair, and uniform. ala man mahimo ang students

ang gi apas ana nila kay ang research grant man daw gikan sa CHED kay if ang compe naa sa engg dili mahatagan kay engg as a whole man ang hatagan ug grant, pero if naay lain nga college, mao nana... pero ang CAS dili man daw sila musugot kay ang gabuhi daw sa ilang college kay ang CS/IT man daw...

btw mga taga.tc..naa kunoy rumor na ang compe,comsci,i.t,act ug other computer-related courses kay i.merge into one college,College of Computer Studies kuno..
