God is just a figment of someone's thoughts... An idea of a higher being...

God is a personality for me. She comforts me with caressing air on my cheeks when I am sad. And when He calls, He gives me a choice to follow or not. She is ever true to her promise that everything is going to be alright and when I need help, help will always come. I can't explain him, I only know him.

Is that logical?

i can't say but it definitely is romantic.

my question is how can you tell if the one doing the comforting, caressing, calling, promising, etc isn't your own Self? those are all human expressions after all, things you can do yourself. how do you know that S/he is a person or entity separate or external from your Self? ... sir reg will say "god is in you" or even "god is you", and though i don't go that far (yet), it does make more sense.

unless in your time of need S/he lifts you up to the skies in wonderful bliss, literally flying (otherwise it's shabu and not god) .. that's something no human can do so it's easier to surmise that it must be some(one/thing) else.
