awawaw...

it's quite sad that you have a lot of misconceptions about religion. No major religion of this world wants its followers to do bad things, violent things.
If you look closely at the core teachings of each religion, you will see that there is a common thing... and it's not violence.
i do hope people will understand first the core teachings of religions before saying that religion is the root of evil. religion is not the problem, but the people are! The rest of religion is inessential and is totally void if one does not follow and understand the core teachings first.
There was never a page in the Quran that said a Muslim should kill other people who are nonbelievers. There was never a page in the Quran that said Muslims should force their beliefs.
See, these misconceptions about religion are dangerous. They're dangerous both to the believers and nonbelievers.
btw, in the defense of true Christians, a professor once told my Catholic friend that "You are afraid of sinning just because you don't want to go to hell and you're afraid of God"
and my friend just said "No, I think you're mistaken. I don't want to sin because the act of sinning hurts God, and I don't want to hurt somebody I love."
You see, those fundamentalists are like fake atheists... They keep on insisting on the inessentials, which clearly are not important.
The true followers/believers of a religion are those who follow the core teachings, which are mostly about love...
