OT: hahahah, you guys are funny. I was really wondering why you guys likes vids and clips. hehehe
I was also wonderin what kind of thought does the thread starter has in mind. Flamenco dance perhaps? hahahahahaha
OT: i think everybody i know personally is mature enough to post their work if your proud of it, its all about making music, and with music im interested how their playing sounds like..
OT: at Bryan, Well taken bro, but i earn my pride through my students seeing them, becoming better players than I am as well as masters of their own music. It's a living testimony indeed.
I just realized that there was a thread also with the same TS, about flamenco lessons. I suggest, you (TS) merge this thread with your existing one. Peace to all.

it doesn't have to be, but is preferable for smooth "brushing" of strings and crunchy attack of notes. The plectrum is very rigid compared to our nails so most Spanish maestros prefer to use finger nails only. You must learn classical finger style to have a good feel of flamenco.
the reason I'm asking is because I for one have learned my lesson about trying to "insert' some ideas in Spanish music w/c to Flamenco is a taboo (trust me no Spanish guitarist would want to hear of someone "bastardizing" their own music).
so instead of bragging about your "discovered" diminished note ideas why not do justice on what you've said and post some clips and vids.

harmonics in the 12th, 5th and 3rd frets. The best i discoverred was fusing diminished chords with flattened 5th and added ninth to really build up the tension and keep on flowing the tempo resolving to aeolian, then fade to its relative major or its parallel minor equivalent.
My favorite style is playing arpeggiated harmonic minor sweep finishing with a very exotic Phrygian dominant touch. I've been using classical nylon or acoustic steel guitar made of Martin or by Yamaha if not, preferably. How about you?
