True, a lot of the guys at XS believe that as long as you do not throttle or dont run unstable theres no risk of long term CPU failure, if you run at stock your CPU can live upto 15yrs, if you run at overclocked settings with in reasonable volts and do not ever reach thermal throttle/instability then it would still live for atleast 10yrs give or take 2-3 more years even.

BTW...in the guide by CompuTronix he kept saying something about an Standard Ambient of 22c I'm guessing that's going to vary when you're in different parts of the world, right? Example: In the Sahara Desert your Ambient might be very high (hot), while in Antarctica it will be very low (cold).

the purpose for that is scaling. if you can't go for 22c, you can simply use the difference on your ambient temp - standard temp and you do the same to your processor temperature. he made it that was para magamit ang guide bisan lain imong room temp by simply subtracting your ambient temp to his standard temp then do the same to your processor temps.

Ang pasabot ni poldok is ang "avg" ambient temp sa guide writer is 22c, that just for reference sa iyang entire guide.

Ambient temp to CPU temp scaling is non linear, pasabot kung mo saka by 1c imong ambient dli sad 1c ang saka sa CPU.. a tad bit higher ( purely based on my own experience )
