    Make haste,
    Do not.
    Lest you will find
    Yourself in a knot.

    Untangling,
    Straightening,
    Always repeating…

    We can never hold,
    What Cronos commands
    You have to be bold
To take it from his hands.

    Therefore, learn,
    Learn and learn.

    Make haste,
    Do not.

For my ever-loving, and ever-beautiful wife:

    The Queen
    by Pablo Neruda

    I have named you queen.
There are taller ones than you, taller.
There are purer ones than you, purer.
There are lovelier than you, lovelier.

    But you are the queen.

When you go through the streets
    no one recognizes you.
No one sees your crystal crown, no one looks
at the carpet of red gold
that you tread as you pass
    the nonexistent carpet.

    And when you appear
    all the rivers sound
    in my body, bells
    shake the sky,
and a hymn fills the world.

    Only you and I,
only you and I, my love,
    listen to it.

    Default valentine's date

    for suicide sylvia...

    we stood facing
    the sweet slop
    of slow sepia
    morning.

    pocked-face gracing
    rain; early drenches.
    thunder in blank guts,
    storms rattling
    on cold feet.

    sweep gathers lay,
    broom clouds shadow
    thoughts post-haze
    frigid; unbecoming.

    inner scars drown
    in shallow cacophonies
    broken hearts beating
    dead drunk skunk
    as the world.

    night crawls - false
    tender.
    i dreamt fallopian,
    i sweat visceral.
    oh, this heat.

    Default Rain

    i wish it rains
    violent enough.

    An unapologetic slush
    of blunted needles
    digging puddles of relief.

    I’d soak myself up;
    keep the smile,
    shed the skin,
    yet still hide
while I give birth with my eyes.

    and nobody needs to see,
    That little secret

between the rain and of me.
