it's complicated. it has something to do with paradoxes. anyway, i think i said "the god of the church" not the god in the bible.

being a Theosophist, you're not really required to believe in a God. as long as you believe in the Universal Brotherhood, and as long as you do not impose your beliefs on others.

IMO, they have decided to become atheists for the wrong reasons (i.e. masama ang loob), now that's just plain baduy. IMO, (please don't be offended sir), there is NO true atheist. their very existence trying to argue there is no God, just builds the case for the existence of a God or a Supreme Being. where would there focal point for God's non-existence be, if not for the very concept of God just the same right? they may consider themselves as atheists, but they will STILL need God for which to try to disbelieve in His non-existence.
unfortunately i did not become an atheist for such reasons like "biblegod broke my hart" chuvaness.
i'm only reverting to my DEFAULT mode. theist's claims about their god are insufficient/inadequate...hence, i'm not ASSUMING there is one or many god/s.

...and i am merely questioning the basis of those CLAIMS. i'm not in any way disproving god/s here.
