Default Shipping Cost of Cars From Manila

I bought a car in Manila about 4-5 years ago and I don't know the cost of shipment nowadays. Naa nakasuway ani lately? Pila na karon ang mabayran sa barko pag ship ug awto? Lancer or corolla. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for all your replies! Mahala na diay. What's the difference between regular cargo and regular cargo and container van? Mas dugay ba moabot? Safe ba ang awto?

Sent an Accord-sized car last week to Manila through Sulpicio Lines as rolling cargo (they drive it onto the ship), 12k freight, 500 petot handling, and 145 petot PPA. Brought the car to the pier in the morning, no hassles with getting it checked in. Zero traffic either. They have a holding area for vehicles to be shipped and they'll be the ones to put the cars on board. If you're including items with the car, please make sure you declare these to avoid pilferage. And bring extra photocopies of your OR/CR just in case. They will need one for shipping, keep an extra one in the car. My unit arrived in good condition, no pilferage or damage.

I don't know if the freight varies with the car size, I assume it does. Containerized cargo is much more expensive I think, especially if you have a larger car to ship. And personally I feel the risk is bigger, because the car might not be blocked and positioned properly inside while the ship rolls in the seas enroute, resulting in damage.

Just my 2cw. Hope it helps.

Thanks W108. I think that's the way they did it with my first shipment. It was a Lancer itlog, but I only paid about P8,000. Your reply gave me an idea of how much it would cost nowadays.

    Thanks.

kung gusto mo barato didto isakay sa mga cargo vessel such as gothong, NMC, sulpicio na cargo ships. taas ang sailing dates ani usually 3 to 4 days. but if nag dali ka bring it to passenger vessels such as supper ferry, these are around 30% higher than cargo vessels.

you may inquire directly sa mga shipping lines.. if you take passenger vessels such as super ferry, this is not containerized coz RO-RO style lang ni siya. but if cargo vesel ka, containerized ang mayo ani..
