In fact, some students didn't know what they want to do with their lives, all they want is money or get to other country as much as possible without preparing the possibilities if they get there. In some cases, some students just follow what others do. tsk... tsk.. tsk.... their talents for other industry is wasted.
i think that's not the point ang money bro..mostly of the students right now took the nursing course coz they want to work abroad so that they can help their family, particularly not the money itself.

We can't blame them. Of course we respect their professions.
"Want to work abroad" <--- it's a different meaning. Means wanting to earn more and that is related to money.

How about "a desire to become a nurse" or "becoming a nurse to earn and help their family." Which is better?

the latter statement ky murag wa na ni sa vocabulary sa mga bag-o produce ron or basin sa una pa gani ni ga exist na intentions.....mang-abroad gyud for certain reasons!

i had a small informal talk to a couple of sections in one nursing school last 3 weeks ago during my short visit ky gi invite ko as a resource for the outgoing nursing grads nila. most of them, said YES na working abroad ila goal!

ok ra unta kung ingon ni ana ila plans but if their desires are pretty mixed up with a not so stable character as a nurse medyo lisod ang resulta!!! taas kau sila expectation na nindot daun ang life nila sa gawas not even thinking unsa ila responsibilities mahimo as an RN.

na shock sila wen i mentioned the following stuff while we are in nursing school and that we give less attention to these:

-how poor we are in our documentations
    -assessment process
    -nursing responsibilities prior/post procedures
-policies are not much practiced (or wa gani mostly)
    -phlebotomy/IV insertion
    -lab results
    -assertiveness/communication skills
-character development (entails in and outside of one's self)

and the list can go on still....there was even a student who asked "Miss, all that we read in their books (review books for NCLEX) does happen in reality?" with this question, i did not hesitate to give my response as "YES, to every letter there is"....

i just hope the new breeds of RN ky mag maintain lang unta ug teacheable character or receptive sa learning man lang ta!

read this link http://www.intlnursemigration.org/do...-on-Year-I.pdf so you'll have an idea unsa ka cyclic ang need sa nursing. naa sila graphs sa uban portion sa research regarding recruitment of FEN (foreign educated nurses).
