It's called
DUE PROCESS. Maybe you've heard of it. it's part of a democracy. It's part of the rule of law. Even canon law goes by it.
Here's another problem: What Fr. Suarez is doing is not illegal. Can it be stopped then?. If people don't believe in him, they should not donate. But apparently lots of people do believe and want to donate to his projects. The bishops may say something, but legally they cannot stop him unless he is using Church funds. But what about funds that people donate for his projects? How can thyat be stopped?
The issue has tio be examined properly.Attacking a well-regarded, nationally-awarded person without all the facts isn't right. It's unfair.
Examine the evidence first, and then make a decision based on it. That has clearly
NOT been done in this case.
