This shrine has nothing to do with God... but it has something to do with people serving God. Naay daghan donations mo sulod everyday sa mga simbahan oi, naa pa na silay halin sa ilang mga negosyo nga rosaryo, bibliya og sa kandila nga recycled nga ibalik ra pud every week. then ila pang negosyo sa bindisyon sa bunyag, sa patay, sa masakiton, first communion, compirma og uban... daghan kaau nag kwarta ang simbahan kung buot huna2on. Apan na problema ni sila unsaon nila pag gasto sa kwarta mao nang kani nga idea ilang na huna2an.
Wa na jud moy laing na huna2an nga ikagasto sa kwarta? Di jud mo ka huna2 og tabang atong mga pamilya nga daghan kaau anak tungod sa inyong gipang ingon nga "NO TO RH BILL"... intawn pud...

.. If that selfish priest really wants to help the people, he should have opted to HELP THE POOR AND NOT ERECT THAT STATUE. If the rumours are true and that the statue costs 1B, damn, 1B can help tens of thousands of people.

The real cause of economic hardship is CORRUPTION and ECONOMIC MISMANAGEMENT. Population has nothing to do with it. That is why you can have large families that prosper and small families that get poorer. You need proper management at the micro and macro level. The government should set a level playing field and people can take advantage of it. But if the government is corrupt, things become much more difficult.
But as usual, the RH fanatics want to use "overpopulation" as a scapegoat. My take on that is at the URL below.
