call center
try ta apply sa red mobile group,i heard naa cla hiring this year kay mag merge ang SMC ug quatar telecom dri pinas.
I assume you are doing IT support and you have acquired experience in computer technology so it is a plus kung mo apply ka sa oil & gas industry. You may not be able to use all what you have learned in school but joining the industry is quite rewarding as what happened to one of my classmates. Ang nindot man gud sa ECE when you are in Research & Development kay daghan kaayo ka makat-unan. Pero atung gobyerno wala may supporta sa R&D. Magsalig lang sa mga private investors and when they go pareho karon sa economic crunch nga nahitabo, transfer of knowledge stops. Labi na gyud sa mga new graduates, pait kaayo maglibug ug asa dagan to catch up.
Taga-an lang tika ug hint kung mo join ka sa oil & Gas be it in exploration, drilling or production, aside from your computer skills kinahanglan kabalu ka ug mga electronic troubleshooting if possible up to the component level and you must have good soldering skills. I should know kay gikan akong elder brother ana nga industry though sa mechanical cya but now he's retired.
swerte kaayo ang naa sa RnD. Sila sad tong mga bright kaayo pag graduate.
Bro.., kinahanglan pata mag training kung mo apply ta ana mga oil and gas company?...
naa bana sa TESDA kaha noh?
daghang pwede sa trabaho ang ECE uy, not just in call centers... we can have a carrer in the power sector, like TransCo (now NGCP), NAPOCOR, VECO and many more... Data communication not just voice communication are very import to today's modern world. So, better do good in your studies hard and be ECE.
I don't think naa ni sa Tesda but like I said, you can enroll some courses that enhances your hands on skills labi na gyud sa troubleshooting ug soldering. Dunay mga courses diha nga pang vocational/technician and engineers should learn it as well. Sa actual na, you don't rely too often on calculators except kung design imong trabaho. I am just encouraging the people here kay every bit of skill nga imong makuha nga related sa imong profession, walay mawala nimo. It is always a plus. My classmate once told me when he applied for an oil exploration company, unsay nagamit niyang advantage sa ubang applicants after the interview? His good soldering skills. Gipa actual kuno sila sa employer to see if they are really competent in soldering. He passed and he started a 6 digit salary. He said his license was just the persuader but it was the hands on skill that made his application, in the bag.
ang point ani kay ang dili tapulan nga ECE graduate kay dili jud ma-unemployed...
