    May I made a clarification:

BAPTISM- nowhere in the bible can you read that sprinkling of water is baptism...am not an expert but at least "baptism" is from the word baptizo which means immersion.

POINT: it is symbolic, meaning when you were immersed (baptized) you have been dead in the sin and when you rose from the water---you became alive, that is from sin, and you live a new life with Christ in you.

It is never an act of salvation or a way of salvation. IT is the SPIRITUAL baptism that signifies that you have been saved WHICH happens after you have been justified through faith, by CHRIST.

IT is not faith that justifies you but the object of faith, that is JESUS CHRIST!

    KNOW THIS PEOPLE:

IT IS JESUS CHRIST WHO SAVES!

    JESUS CHRIST SAVES!

    NOT WORKS.
NOT FAITH. (iT IS THE ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF GRACE-WHICH IS SALVATION)
    NOT BAPTISM.
    NOT TRADITIONS OR RITUALS.

FAITH HERE IS THE MEDIUM THAT YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED OR TO BE SAVED.
REMEMBER: THE OBJECT OF FAITH IS JESUS CHRIST.

    JESUS CHRIST SAVES!

Jesus saves. But one must accept the gift and LIVE a life of commitment to Christ. Faith without works will not save. That's the bottom line. Matthew and James makes that clear too.

Faith without deeds is a dead faith.

Belief without being able to proclaim and evangelize is UNbelief.

Jesus saves! Good works alone can't save you!
We are saved by grace through faith. If you add good works to your faith, the better, coz it is a must, and it separates Christians from the others.

However, failing to do good works after receiving God's gift of salvation, does not disqualify one from being saved.

Kindly show me where I said good works ALONE can save you.

    Really? Read James 2:14-26
    Code:
14 "What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but
does not have works? Can that faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister has nothing to wear and has no food for the day,
16 and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well,"
but you do not give them the necessities of the body, what good is it?
17 So also faith of itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
18 Indeed someone might say, "You have faith and I have works." Demonstrate
your faith to me without works, and I will demonstrate my faith to you from my works.
19 You believe that God is one. You do well. Even the demons believe that and tremble.
20 Do you want proof, you ignoramus, that faith without works is useless?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered his son Isaac upon the altar?
22 You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by the works.
23 Thus the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as
righteousness," and he was called "the friend of God."
24 See how a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.
25 And in the same way, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she welcomed the
messengers and sent them out by a different route?
26 For just as a body without a spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

we are saved to do good works... and if our faith shows in our deeds it is NOT by our own works but God's Spirit working within us, for no one can say Jesus is the Lord unless through the Holy Spirit.

Failure, meaning through no fault of his own a Christian is unable to respond to his calling of being God's workmanship, his faith is credited as righteousness even if he worketh not. - Rom 4: 4 - 5

Murag mao sad ni ang problema basta debate, bro... kay tendency naa ta'y "righteous fury" especially kung bug-at atong pagtoo nga naa nato ang kamato-oran.....

pero thanks for reminding, basta religion ang debate dapat sad unta i-maintain ang Christian essence and being civil. hehehe.

Also, basin kay di man ko musuporta sa RCC gisunod ra pud niya og nilang HoundedbyHeaven and Dacs ang gi-ingon sa Bibliya nga treat those who don't listen to the "church" like a tax collector or a pagan.

For those nga dili mutoo nga ang RCC mao na nga simbahan ang gihisgotan, mao jud na usa sa mga pangutana ron. Simbahan ba gyud na nga tinuod ang RCC?

Thanks for the support, I hope you stick around too
