were you able to see maxi during the cinemalaya run?
has anyone else seen the movie? comments naman kayo dyan...
i've watched this movie the first day its shown... it wasnt dat artistic or dat creative as wat we always expect for a movie.. but then it has really a good story.. natouch ko sa family ni maximo coz tho they earn a living thru snatching or watsoever but still they keep a good relationship within the family, especially maximos big bros it so touching how they care their youngest bro.. love it and natouch ko ato ha..
watched this movie last sunday..nice!!! this movie really captured the lives of pinoys...
"...hindi na mababawasan ang pamilyang ito..."
if you havent watched this film yet, then run to the theaters now...
actually im just copying the first sentences of miss. zafra's review of the film on her blog at blogspot,
because i feel the same way! one warning though..dont watch it with somebody who will not really appreciate it for what it really is. you'll be sorely annoyed and maybe, just a bit your enjoyment for the movie will be a bit marred... just a teeny bit but still!
maximo oliveros was a beautiful movie. its not even preachy even if it touches on pressing societal issues like crime and poverty...it talks about the beauties and pains of first love and life in levels.
i love michiko yamamoto eversince magnifico..its just a bit off-putting that she writes for "kilig ako"...grumble grumble
but i guess everybody has got to have a day job...
kudos! i left the movie house crying. that movie leaves something unforgettable in you. really.
omg. that line na sinabi ng papa ni maxi.. i cried talaga .. plus the way the dad delivered it super hit me straight in the heart!!!Originally Posted by shadow
i agree thats why i watched it alone since my friends were not really into indie/art films.Originally Posted by anniepetilla
Gaya ng bad experience ko while i watched the movie, babae sa side ko sobrang talkative eh sure ko naman na hindi nya naiintindihan yung film. the audio was bad and she made it worse! but i do agree go and catch the movie!!!
