MEMORY CHIPS SPEED
pc-1600 ddr-200 100mhz
pc-2100 ddr-266 133mhz
pc-2700 ddr-333 166mhz
pc-3200 ddr-400 200mhz
MEMORY CHIPS SPEED
pc-1600 ddr-200 100mhz
pc-2100 ddr-266 133mhz
pc-2700 ddr-333 166mhz
pc-3200 ddr-400 200mhz
can anybody explain bout timings?? kay dili gyud ko sure sa ako nahibaw-an ani... and ok raba kng lahi ang timings gamiton nimo?? dili maka-daut??
because ddr memory effectively uses the rising and falling cycles of clock frequency, a 133 mhz actual speed is doubled hence ddr-266 (for 133mhz and so forth....)Originally Posted by gtjr_ph
so uhhhh wat does DDR mean? D.D.R. kung pwede ako lang sad e add... diba naa man sad RDRAM? wat ever happend to it?
DDR = Double Data Rate
RDRAM.. basin SDRAM na...
im sure RDram to. or basin dili lang jud sila sweto sa ilang gipamaligya...
sa NUtech na paper AD to nako nakit-an og sa Andersons sad na AD
Hello guys...Do you have any idea on where to biy pc 266, 512 mb...I'm having a hard tme of looking for it..since it is already phased out...Do you know where to buy this ram? Thank you..
RDRAM = Direct Rambus DRAM. usually just called Rambus DRAM developed by Rambus corporation.Â* This is one of the main reasons why DDR RAM was created to counter RDRAM (being used solely by Intel in the PC segment).Â* It's successor XDR DRAM will be used in the upcoming PS3Originally Posted by doki
* RDRAM although very fast has not gained enough support because of excessive price. manufacturers were looking for alternatives-- thus the birth of DDR RAM.[br]Date Posted: December 06, 2005, 05:22:28 AM_________________________________________________D DR266 chips means it will run at 133Mhz and have a 2.133GB/s bandwidth per channel thus PC-2100
DDR333 chips means it will run at 166Mhz and have a 2.677GB/s bandwidth per channel thus PC-2700
DDR400 chips means it will run at 200Mhz and have a 3.2GB/s bandwidth per channel thus PC-3200
say you are running on dual channel with DDR400 chips.. then your theoretical BW would be doubled to 6.4GB/s
in short.. the DDRXXX is the chip type and the PC-XXXX is the approximate bandwidth
