Good Day mga bossing!!! how to recover or reappear ang FOLDER OPTION under sa Appearance and Themes sa Control Panel? Nawagtang man lang gud og kalit ambot kung ngano, dili na hinoon ko kakita sa akong mga folder nga akong gi hide. Unsay laing paagi para makita to akong gi hide nga files.? thanks a lot in advace.

i think its a virus bro...kasulay ko ani before...just update your virus definition files then scan your system...

virus na bro, kasuway sad ko ana..follow the advice of kennruss..

however, to temporarily access ur hidden files just search by it's folder name/filename and it will be visible and u can then change the attributes to unhide it...

Usually this is caused by a brontok virus.... pwede na nimo maoli by downloading the program called "Malicious Software Detection Tool" from the Microsoft website so as to delete the virus that caused the problem... here is the link...

if folder options still doesn't show up after downloading and running the program, proceed to the registry editor by typing "regedit" (w/o the qoutes) and follow the steps on how to enable or disable the folder options found in this link

NOTE: Please be careful in editing the registry values for any unfavorable changes may cause your computer not to start... Read the instructions carefully to refrain from any unwanted results... I do recommend it for I already tried it but I will not be held responsible...

brontok washer will solve ur problem bro..pero sa uban antivirus...BW will be tretaed as virus.....disable lng sa antivirus..use BW then after enable lng balik..tried it na d tested it na

mao pajud pag basa nako ani inyong thread bai..kanang akoa pod ba kai dili ma open ang folder options sa control panel nako....usa ni xa nahitabo na infected ako pc sa usa ka malware..karon nasulbad na nako..autorun.inf and MS-DOS.com.bak ako na nasulbad..karon daghan man og nausab sa ako PC usa na ang dili maopen ang folder options...tabangi ko ninyo bai ....

bisan pa ma-fix ninyo sa registry ang folder options na problem, nya naa pa ang virus sa system.. mobalik lang gihapon na kawagtang..
