Amblypigids needs solid damp vertical places with lots of crevasses to climb and hide.. they need dark and very humid and moist environment.. dry air kills them pretty quickly... try a rocks and pebbles, with lots of moisture (damp, not wet)... or a rotting log / driftwood will do..

hehehe! ato ni klarohon to avoid a common confusion. there are actually two species.
WHIP SPIDER or TAILLESS WHIP SCORPION
Amblypygi is an order of invertebrate animals belonging to the class Arachnida, in the subphylum Chelicerata of the phylum Arthropoda.
Amblypygids are also known as whip spiders and tailless whip scorpions (not to be confused with whip scorpions that belong to the Arachnid order Thelyphonida). The name "amblypygid" means "blunt rump", a reference to a lack of the telson ("tail") carried by related species.
WHIP SCORPION
Uropygid or Vinegarroons are invertebrate arachnids of the order Thelyphonida. They are often called uropygids in the scientific community after the former order Uropygi (which originally also included the order Schizomida). They are also known as whip scorpions because of their resemblance to true scorpions and because of their whip-like tails.
