sus intawn kani circuit city (ayala) nag buy mi nintendo ds lite last year as a graduation gift sa ako nephew... naa lagi patong kay credit card amo bayad... limot ko pila to ka % pero needed man so mao bayad nalang mi taas taas... HMPH!
unsa man mabuhat dapat buhaton nato ani?
@TS: add this to you list, EMCOR APPLIANCE CENTER is also adding surcharges if you'll pay your monthly due thru credit card. Its 5.5%...i tried to use my cc for it so i would know how much ilang surcharges. Mahala oi! Wla pjdu diay ni gi-implement pag ayo sa DTI sah? That's unfair sa mga consumers oi!
Ang Forever Living ai kay naa 5% surcharge kung gamit ug debit or credit card. Pero kung cash kay wala. Ana sila kay wholesale kuno ila prices (consumer man gud mi nila mao to nagpa-member mi). Ana sila na ang balaud kuno kay para ra daw retail. Lusot jud ni sila dah. Salig lang kay si Roilo Golez ila Director diri Pilipinas.
hehehe.. mao pud retail ra man pud cguro ang affected.
Negosyo ra man gihapon ni. And other countries have their cash discounts too, mostly computer and electronics because they are high-value and low-margin items. You can read this on the reason why there's a cash discount or why they added surcharges before. Credit Card Surcharges / Cash Discounts
In short, if DTI says it's illegal to add surcharge (mostly this is pressure from credit card companies, and of course naa pud sila % because they provided added services and where will they get profit from their credit cards), the store will just add a higher margin to the regular price. If you pay by cash, most will give cash discounts. Baliktad hinuon ko ani, kay those who don't give cash discounts jud, you know their markup is higher than the other stores, mao nang ka afford sila anang credit card charges.
Why not making a list, adding receipts as evidence, and forward this to DTI? What does complaining here at istorya.net help?
